Men regeringen sagde planer allerede var på plads til at køre op standarder.
En national demens strategi blev offentliggjort i England tidligere på året donationskonference indsats for at forbedre pleje hele NHS og sociale ydelser.

Lignende planer er også ved at blive indført i resten af UK som tjenesteydelser kæmpe med det stigende antal patienter får den betingelse.
Antallet af mennesker, der berøres forventes mere end fordoblet til 1.7 M i 2051.
De parlamentsmedlemmer, der modtog administration og finansiering af støtte fra Alzheimer 's Society i undersøgelsen, sagde, at social omsorg arbejdsstyrke havde et begrænset kendskab til den tilstand.
Det sagde trods et stigende antal syge, halvdelen af personalet at yde omsorg for mennesker med demens i eget hjem ikke havde haft nogen specialuddannelse.

Tidligere i år en rapport fra analytikere Laing og Buisson havde også kritiseret uddannelse i plejehjem, siger, at det var "fragmenteret og ad-hoc".
At afhjælpe det problem, de parlamentsmedlemmer foreslået uddannelse skal være obligatorisk for alle medarbejdere inden for sundhedssektoren arbejder med mennesker med demens.
Men den rapport, sagde en manglende oplæring var ikke den eneste årsag til problemerne.
Blandt de "dehumanising" eksempler på pleje ydes var en sag, hvor en mandlig plejehjem patient fik at vide for at gå på toilettet i hans inkontinens pad trods bede nogen om at hjælpe ham bruge et toilet.
I andre eksempler en patient fik at vide at "sætte sig ned og hold kæft" og en anden advaret de ikke ville blive passet, hvis de ikke spiser deres måltid.
'Manglende forståelse '
MPS sagde omsætningen på det sociale pleje arbejdsstyrke var for høj, og var behov for forbedringer over løn og vilkår.
Rapporten sagde bedre regulering var desuden nødvendigt med inspektørerne, der lider af en mangel på forståelse for.
Jeremy Wright, formand for All-part parlamentariske gruppe af demens, sagde: "Det er dybt foruroligende, at Storbritannien ikke er udstyret til at levere høj kvalitet demens omhu."
Og Neil Hunt, administrerende direktør for det Alzheimer 's Society, tilføjede: "Siden 1950'erne forbedringer i kræft pleje har givet millioner af mennesker en bedre livskvalitet. Det samme skal nu ske for mennesker med demens."
Men plejetjenester minister Phil Hope sagde demens strategi ville omdanne pleje.
"Jeg ønsker at se en dygtig og effektiv arbejdsstyrke på plads til at støtte mennesker med demens.
"Bedre uddannelse er afgørende, så vi arbejder med uddannelsesudbyderne til at hæve standarden for både grundlæggende færdigheder og processen med løbende faglig og faglig udvikling."
